Iroquois Community School hosted a special event to support the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation in memory of a former ICS student, Samantha Lehman.

The school hosted a volleyball fundraiser showcasing an exciting match between the 8th grade students and ICS teachers.

This collaborative school-wide effort brought together the entire ICS community – students, staff and parents – to raise funds for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.

Cystic Fibrosis is a genetic, life-shortening disease that devastates the lungs, pancreas and other vital organs.

The disease makes it difficult to breathe and fight life-threatening infections, often leading to extensive damage and respiratory failure.

General Music, Choir and Orchestra Teacher Mr. Dominique Radtke said, "By working together, we can create a more positive and enriching learning environment for all while strengthening the bonds that connect us."
