The Masked Reader Challenge
Iroquois
In preparation for Read Across America Week, Iroquois Community School students were challenged to read as many books as possible for a Masked Reader Challenge.
Fourth Grade Teacher Ms. Madeline Redding explained that each day the students watched a video of a Masked Reader.
Each video included clues about the teacher and a short read aloud read by the Masked Reader.
On the last day of the challenge, ICS held a grand reveal assembly where students found out who each reader was.
Winners of the reading contest were announced at the assembly.
Over the course of 10 days, ICS students read more than 1,000 books!
