The Juggler with the Yellow Shoes
Entertainer Dan Kirk presented his impressive juggling skills, along with a "STOP Bullying" presentation, to Iroquois students in kindergarten through fifth grade last Friday.
Kirk, who is known as "The Juggler with the Yellow Shoes," first talked to the students about the definition of bullying.
He took time answering common questions about bullying, such as what you should do if you are bullied and what should you do if you see bullying happen.
As part of his message Kirk also spoke about the importance of kindness.
Even though he addressed a serious topic, Kirk made the message fun with his juggling skills.
He juggled all different kinds of items, including balls, bowling pins and tennis rackets.
Kirk also invited students to come up to help him with his various acts.
At one point he even rode a unicycle while juggling plastic pins.
His juggling tricks entertained students and left them laughing and cheering for more. He was a delight to have at ICS!
The event was made possible by a grant from the D62 Education Foundation.
