Iroquois
The Iroquois Community School Jazz Band recently participated in the Old Quarry Middle School Jazz Festival in Lemont, Illinois.
At this all-day event, the band had the opportunity to be a part of an hour-long music clinic with jazz educators.
The ICS musicians also participated in a master class with a professional musician and enjoyed a professional jazz concert.
One of the many highlights of the day included a jam session during lunch, in which all students had an opportunity to improvise their own solos!
A special thank you to ICS band director Sarah Todd for organizing and preparing this wonderful event for the students.
Todd said that all of the students had a blast and it was amazing to see the students shine!
