8th Grade vs Staff Volleyball Game

The event was in honor of a former ICS student who was afflicted with cystic fibrosis and lost her battle with CF in 2012 at the age of twenty.

Prior to COVID, this event was held annually. We have been supporting this cause for over 20 years.

The event known as the Samantha Lehman Memorial CF Event was held on Wednesday, August 16, 2023.  The event was an 8th grade v. staff volleyball game.

One game was played at the end of the school day with the entire student body present.  In the evening, at 7 p.m., two games were also played. 

Alumni, former families, and community members were invited to the evening event and donations were collected.

In addition, the 8th grade organized a "Miracle Minute" to take place the morning of the game. Eighth grade students went to rooms in the morning and collected as much money from the student body as possible in one minute.
