Early Learning Center
Students in the Extended Day Kindergarten (EDK) program had a great time this week!
Students enjoyed listening to their teacher read the book B. Bear and Lolly Off to School.
The book taught the students about friendship and the importance of being kind to others.
Extended Day Kindergarten (EDK) provides students with an extension of the district's half-day kindergarten program.
EDK is built on a foundation of the Illinois Early Learning Standards, which align with kindergarten expectations.
Students learned the importance of independence by getting their own snacks.
