Winter Card Judging is a Community Affair
The Frisbie Senior Center in Des Plaines hosted the judging of the District 62 annual winter card contest for the second year in a row.
Dozens of seniors, as well as several community leaders, came to the center to judge nearly 40 cards!
Many said they had a hard time with the judging because there were so many creative entries!
The score cards are being tallied and the first, second and third place winners will be honored at the November Board of Education meeting.
The first place card will be the holiday card that the district will send out to the community.
All entries will be on display at the Des Plaines Public Library in December. Be sure to stop by to see the talented work of the D62 students!
A special thank you to the Frisbie Center and to all those who took the time to judge the entries!
