D62 Winter Card Judging a Community Affair
For the third year in a row dozens of seniors, as well as several community leaders, judged the entries of the D62 annual winter card contest at the Frisbie Senior Center.
The district had a record breaking number of entries this year, with a total of 71 students submitting their creative winter-themed artwork.
Many of the judges said they had a hard time scoring them because there were so many creative entries!
The score cards are currently being tallied and the first, second and third place winners will be honored at the November Board of Education meeting.
The first place card will be the holiday card that the district will send out to the community.
All entries will be on display at the Des Plaines Public Library throughout the month of December.
Be sure to stop by to see the talented work of the D62 students!
A special thank you to the Frisbie Center for once again hosting the judging event and to all those who took the time to score the entries!
