For the fourth year in a row dozens of seniors, as well as several community leaders, judged the entries of the D62 annual winter card contest at the Frisbie Senior Center.

Colorful snowmen, penguins and cardinals decorated the tables of the senior center conference room.

A total of 72 students submitted their creative winter-themed artwork!

Judges said they had a hard time scoring them because there were so many creative entries!

The first, second and third place winners will be honored at the next Board of Education meeting on November 17 at Central Elementary School.

The first place card will be the holiday card that the district will send out to the community.

All entries will be on display at the Des Plaines Public Library throughout the month of December.
