CCSD62
The D62 Fine Arts Music Programs are hosting their annual Solo and Ensemble Music Festivals at each of the three middle schools: Algonquin Middle School, Chippewa Middle School and Iroquois Community School.
During these festivals, the district's talented band, choir and orchestra students prepare and perform solo and ensemble pieces in front of a music judge.
After each performance, students receive a music rating along with a mini master class, providing them with valuable, positive feedback to help them grow as musicians.
This incredible opportunity allows the students to engage in a meaningful musical experience that enhances their listening skills and overall musicianship.
ICS General Music, Choir and Orchestra Teacher Mr Dominique Radtke said, "We are so proud of the hard work and dedication shown by all our D62 music students who participated, and we extend a big "Bravo!" to each and every one of them!"
