Chippewa Middle School's eighth graders paid a visit to the Des Plaines History Center.

The students had the opportunity to learn about World War I, World War II, the Korean War and the Vietnam War. They heard firsthand from veterans who shared their experiences with them.

The students also saw artifacts from the wars, played trivia and learned about what life was like on the home front during that period of time.

The class also had a chance to explore the 1907 Kinder House Museum and the tools that were used in every day life.
