Twenty-two colorful and unique pieces of art adorn the second floor of the Leon Smaage Administration Center, 777 East Algonquin Road.
Two pieces of art from each of our schools were selected by the school's art teachers and framed at the end of last year as part of the Celebrate 62 recognition program.
Celebrate 62 started in 2022 as a way to showcase the amazing talents of D62 students, while also brightening up the walls of the district’s administration center.
Those who work in the administration center, as well as all those who visit, enjoy the colorful and unique artwork hanging throughout the building.
A certificate honoring the students achievement was sent home to each of the students.
The students will receive their art at the end of the year and new pieces will replace them the following year.
