For Parent University on Friday June 9th, our parents and students enjoyed a visit to the Des Plaines library and a Field Day afterwards.
The library visit consisted of a guided tour, review of summer programs, a book read-aloud, and time to explore the 4 floors and check out books. We then returned to Forest School to rotate through outdoor stations like face painting, basketball, and ring toss.
Our families enjoyed their quality time together, all while staying within our community and appreciating it! This day is one of the highlights of the two-week program.
