Algonquin
The STEP program at Algonquin Middle School runs a coffee cart every Friday.
Teachers place coffee orders, and every Friday morning during Advisory, our class makes and delivers the coffee.
Having a classroom coffee cart helps our students work on important skills that will be beneficial for them when they go into the world of work in the future.
It also helps them work on strengthening their communication skills and life skills.
Our class works together as a team, applying our skills, running the coffee cart, fulfilling orders, handling money, communicating with others, and more.
