In a continued effort to inspire girls to love math and support their college and career readiness, sixth grade girls met with a former Navy pilot on Wednesday 9/20.
Students had the opportunity to ask questions, learned a little bit about the Navy, and solved a problem about landing a plane on an aircraft carrier.
Our guest also shared how she overcame the challenge of being one of only a few women in her role.
We look forward to giving girls more opportunities to see how women use math and science to be successful in their careers!
