Girls' Volleyball Teams Score Big On and Off the Court

Girls' Volleyball Teams Score Big On and Off the Court
Algonquin

The AMS girls' 7th and 8th grade volleyball teams showcased remarkable teamwork and determination this season, resulting in impressive victories that highlighted their individual skills and collective synergy.

According to Coach Ms. Barry, the girls demonstrated resilience during intense matches, fostering a sense of camaraderie that contributed to their growth as a unit.

Specifically, the 7th graders focused on building consistent serves and passes this year.

Season highlights included great tips by the setters, successful passing and consistent serving.

Ms. Barry said the 8th graders continued to solidify their skills while adding in a layer of hitter and blocking.

Some season highlights included the introduction of a new player, the unbelievable net play of many and the assists of several setters.

The players could be seen in a number of games going on serving streaks with continuous aces.

A special thanks to 8th grade manager Jenifer for keeping stats all season.

Ms. Barry said that it was a great season and the athletes learned valuable lessons that will contribute to their future success on and off the court.
