Algonquin Middle School held their annual Culture Fair on Thursday, April 24, celebrating the traditions, heritage and the unique AMS student body.

Students and parents displayed their cultures through poster displays, food, music, dance, crafts and more!

The AMS Mariachi Band was highlighted by their musical talent and a local bagpipe player enriched the guests with its distinctive and powerful sounds.

An AMS staff member even showed off her traditional Polynesian dances!

Also, spotlighted was a sampling of traditional foods from around the world. It was a wonderful opportunity for our community to come together, learn and grow.

English Language Arts Teacher Ms. Nancy Thomas said, "the culture fair is more than just a celebration of our students and staff, but a step towards cultivating an inclusive and supportive community!"

Thank you to everyone who came out to help make the night a success!
