The seventh grade Algonquin Middle School students in Ms. Korin Hehn's class are creating perspective drawings from a bird's eye view.

Ms. Hehn began the class by showing the students examples of what bird's eye view perspective drawings look like.

The students were tasked with drawing different shapes to create a view of buildings from above, learning that the more unique shapes they could come up with the better!

The students used a ruler to ensure their lines were straight and that the downward perspective was correct.

Once they were done with their initial drawings, they traced all of the lines with a black sharpie.

They then could choose to color their buildings in with colored pencils or markers.

The students made a lot of progress on their projects and look forward to finishing them up next week.
