Algonquin Middle School held a short dedication ceremony for their brand new Little Free Library in February, during National Library Lover's Month.
The Little Free Library was obtained through a generous grant from the D62 Education Foundation and is available for all community members to access free books.
AMS Reading Committee members Erin Wengerhoff, Margaret Garlewicz, Kristy Ottow and Susan Marks led the dedication ceremony.
AMS Principal, Don Jones, AMS Assistant Principal, Patty Tzortzis, and D62 Superintendent, Dr. Michael Amadei, were present for the dedication, along with AMS students, parents and community members.
The Little Free Library is now open for all! Feel free to take a book and/or leave a book!
