Annual Online Registration

Online Registration for the 2025-2026 school year opens on March 7, 2025

Current CCSD62 parents/guardians can register their student(s) from the Campus Parent (Infinite Campus) website or use the Campus Parent app on their smart phone. Below are instructions for new families and existing families on how to complete the online registration process.

Online registration process

For Existing families

Register online starting on March 7, 2025.

Step 1: To register a student(s) log in to your existing Campus Parent Portal account.

Step 2: Use your username and password to login to Campus Parent.

If you have a Campus Parent account but forgot the password or username, click the Forgot Password? Or Forgot Username?

If you are an existing family but don’t have an account, please contact your building for more information.

Step 3: On the left side menu, navigate to More > Online Registration. Under Online Registration, you have the ability to register your student(s).

Step 4: Start the registration process.

For new families

Step 1: Register online starting on March 7, 2025.

If this is your first time registering a student in District 62, click our New Family Registration link to access the Infinite Campus Parent Portal.

Step 2: Make an appointment to visit your neighborhood school.

At this appointment, you will present the documents listed below and sign documents to complete your kindergarten student's registration.
- If you are unsure what your neighborhood school is, visit our Find Your School webpage. You can use our school boundaries map to find which boundary you reside in.
You can also attend one of our enrollment events where you can get help with registration as well as bring your documents to get copied. Below this section is a list of our upcoming enrollment events dates.

Step 3: Visit your neighborhood school with the following documents.

Proof of residence ( 3 separate documents, details and examples below)
Student's birth certificate, Visa or Passport (original with seal). Official birth certificates are issued by the county clerk in the county in which your child was born. Hospital certificates are not acceptable.

How do you prove residence in District 62? We are excited to welcome you and ask that you prove residence to ensure that you are in the correct school district. Please make sure all documents are current and have your name and the address within District 62 boundaries.

Who? All Pre-K (yearly), Kindergarten, 2nd Grade, 4th Grade and 6th Grade families will need to provide proof of residency verification every other year.

Proof of Residency - you must provide 3 from the categories below.

Category A - One Item: Real estate tax bill, signed lease, mortgage document or payment book, residency attestation, military housing letter or Section 8 letter.

Category B - Two Items: Gas bill, electric bill, water/sewer bill, phone bill (land line phone), cable bill, vehicle registration, bank statement, public aid card, medicaid card, food stamp card, credit card statement, pay check stub, city sticker receipt or drivers license/state ID.

Health Requirements

Physical examinations are required by state law and the Board of Education upon entrance to school, either into pre-school or kindergarten and prior to entering sixth grade.

Physical examinations are also required for all NEW students whose physical information records do not comply with state law requirements. School board policy requires that students submit this certificate by October 15 of the current school year. Any student registering after October 15 of the current school year is required to submit this certificate within 30 days of starting school.

Annual dental examinations are recommended for every student and are required for students entering kindergarten, second grade, and sixth grade. Per Public Act 102-0095, District 62 administers a school-based dental program for students on an annual basis. Mobile Dental Units are utilized in-district in order to support our students with receiving dental care.

Vision examinations are required for any student entering kindergarten and for any student who is entering an Illinois school for the first time. Vision screening is conducted for students entering preschool, kindergarten, second grade, and eighth grade. Students entering preschool, kindergarten, first grade, second grade, and third grade also participate in hearing screenings. In addition, students receiving special education services are screened annually. Screenings are also conducted for any new student who does not have this information in his/her file. Parents are notified of deficiencies in any category.

All preschool, kindergarten, sixth graders and all new pupils are required to submit evidence that they have had all of the required immunizations against Diphtheria, Pertussis, Tetanus (DTP, Tdap, DTaP, Pediatric DT, or Td), Polio (IPV/ OPV), Haemophilus influenza type b (Hib), Hepatitis B (HB), Varicella (Chickenpox), Measles (Rubeola), Rubella (German measles or 3-day measles), Meningococcal, Pneumococcal and Mumps.

Information regarding vaccine-preventable diseases, including, but not limited to, the influenza and meningococcal viruses, is available through the Illinois Department of Public Health and the Center for Disease Control. Additional information about required immunizations is available in the health office in your school.

Logging In to the App

The Campus Parent apps provide the same tools as the browser version, with the benefit of the option to stay logged in and receive push notifications.

Download the Campus Parent app from the App Store or Google Play Store

2. For District name enter Des Plaines and for State enter Illinois. Then select Search District

3. Select COMM CONSOLIDATED SCH DIST 62

4. Enter your username and password.

5. If using a secure, private device, you can indicate Stay Logged in to receive mobile push notifications.

6. Click Login!

The Person GUID code allows parents to set up a Campus Parent account in Infinite Campus. Please see the instructions below for setting up the account.

Registration Enrollment Events

District 62 will host a series of events to support families with the registration process at:

Algonquin Middle School

Below are the dates of the enrollment events.

April 2, 2025 - 5:30 P.M. to 7:30 P.M.

May 22, 2025 - 5:30 P.M. to 7:30 P.M.

August 5, 2025 - 5:30 P.M. to 7:30 P.M.

iroquois registration process

closed for the 2025-2026 school year.

Online applications will be accessed via the Iroquois website. Enrollment will continue to be based on space availability within class size limitations.

In addition, those who have siblings currently in the school are given first priority. Students entering Kindergarten for the upcoming school year will need to register at their home school, based on their home address.

Iroquois Community School will no longer be a site for Kindergarten registration.

Early Learning Center registration process

There is no online registration for preschool.

The District 62 SPARK Early Childhood tuition based program will be holding preschool registration for the 2024-2025 school year starting on Thursday, February 1, 2024 at the Early Learning Center.
