Annual Online Registration

Online Registration is now open for the 2024-2025 school year!

Current CCSD62 parents/guardians can register their student(s) from the Campus Parent (Infinite Campus) website or use the Campus Parent app on their smart phone. Below are instructions for new families and existing families on how to complete the online registration process.

Online registration process

For Kindergarten & new families

Step 1: Register online starting on February 20, 2024. 

  • If this is your first time registering a student in District 62, click our New Family Registration link (coming soon) to access the Infinite Campus Parent Portal.
  • If you already have a student in District 62, you can register your incoming kindergarten student by logging in to your existing Campus Parent Portal account.

Step 2: Make an appointment to visit your neighborhood school.

  • At this appointment, you will present the documents listed below and sign documents to complete your kindergarten student's registration.
    • If you are unsure what your neighborhood school is, visit our Find Your School webpage. You can use our school boundaries map to find which boundary you reside in. You can also use this Great Schools website to find your school by entering your student's home address.
  • You can also attend one of our enrollment events where you can get help with registration as well as bring your documents to get copied. Below this section is a list of our upcoming enrollment events dates.

Step 3: Visit your neighborhood school with the following documents.

  • Proof of residence ( 3 separate documents, details and examples below)
  • Student's birth certificate, Visa or Passport (original with seal). Official birth certificates are issued by the county clerk in the county in which your child was born. Hospital certificates are not acceptable.

District 62 will host a series of events to support families with the registration process at:

Algonquin Middle School 
767 E. Algonquin Road, Des Plaines

Below are the dates of the enrollment events.

March 13, 2024 - 5:30 P.M. to 7:30 P.M.

April 16, 2024 - 5:30 P.M. to 7:30 P.M.

May 18, 2024 - 9:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M.

June 6, 2024 - 5:30 P.M. to 7:30 P.M.

August 1, 2024 - 5:30 P.M. to 7:30 P.M.


Online registration process

For Existing families

Register online starting on February 20, 2024. 

Step 1: To register a student(s) log in to your existing Campus Parent Portal account.

Step 2: Use your username and password to login to Campus Parent. 

If you have a Campus Parent account but forgot the password or username, click the Forgot Password? Or Forgot Username? 

If you are an existing family but don’t have an account, please contact your building for more information.

Step 3: On the left side menu, navigate to More > Online Registration. Under Online Registration, you have the ability to register your student(s).


Step 4: Start the registration process. 

Existing Student Registration should be selected if you have any returning students.  You will be able to add additional students during the registration process.

New Student Registration should be selected if you don’t have any returning students.


Step 5: Parents and guardians are those individuals that have legal authority and make decisions on behalf of the student(s). Select an existing parent/guardian to make updates. If a parent/guardian is missing, click the Add New Parent/Guardian


Step 6: Emergency contacts are those individuals who are not parents/guardians, may be living in the same household as the student, and should be contacted in case of an emergency and the parent/guardian is not available. Click the Add New Emergency Contact button to begin.


Step 7: Update Student Information Information. To add a new student, select Add New Student.  


Step 8: Once student information has been added, review the Application Summary and click the Submit button. You will receive an email notification that your application was received after you press Submit.


Step 9: Pay the registration fees. 

Under Fees, you have the ability to make payments/deposits for any outstanding fees. Use the following filters below to see specific fees.


Step 10: To pay fees, click Add To Cart next to each fee item. Open your cart to checkout and pay.



iroquois registration process


Online applications will be accessed via the Iroquois website. Enrollment will continue to be based on space availability within class size limitations.

In addition, those who have siblings currently in the school are given first priority.  Students entering Kindergarten for the upcoming school year will need to register at their home school, based on their home address.

Iroquois Community School will no longer be a site for Kindergarten registration.

Early Learning Center registration process

There is no online registration for preschool.

The District 62 SPARK Early Childhood tuition based program will be holding preschool registration for the 2024-2025 school year starting on Thursday, February 1, 2024 at the Early Learning Center.

Registration is drop off only at the Early Learning Center. If you have any questions please contact the us at 847-824-1065
