Future Ready Learners

District 62 educates approximately 5,000 students PreK-8th grade in 12 schools. Including one early learning center, 8 elementary schools, 2 middle schools and one year round K-8 school. We proudly serve and support students and families from Des Plaines and Rosemont.

Our schools play a critical role in promoting the health and safety of young people and helping them to establish lifelong healthy behaviors.

WHOLE COMMUNITY

When schools engage families in meaningful ways to improve student health and learning, families can support and reinforce healthy behaviors in multiple settings-at home, in school, in out-of-school programs, and in the community.

WHOLE CHILD

The whole child approach gives children the foundation they need to become well-rounded, healthy individuals, equipped with a solid education and important life skills to help them reach their full potential.

The Board of Education adopted a new five-year strategic plan at the April 15, 2024 meeting.

Developed through a collaborative effort that involved District 62 students, District 207 students, staff, Board of Education members, families and community.
