District 62’s Transportation Services works in conjunction with school personnel, Septran, Inc., and parents to provide a safe and efficient service.

Free Riders

District 62 provides free bus transportation for students (K-8) who live more than 1.5 miles from their school. This service is available at no cost to the students because the district receives partial reimbursement from the State of Illinois.

Pay Riders

Students (K-8) who live within 1.5 miles of their school may ride the bus for an annual fee depending on the availability of seats on an existing bus.
