Psychological Services

District 62 psychologists are Mental Health Professionals, who are part of every school’s pupil support services team. Psychological Services are administered both to individual students and to the general school population through a variety of systems and supports.

Services include behavioral and academic assessments; direct services to students via Response to Intervention (RtI) activities, individual counseling, behavioral problem analysis and prevention planning; and direct consultation to teachers to address classroom and special instructional problems. In addition to the above, psychologists are an integral part of special initiatives such as the Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) program implemented in select schools.
