SPARK Early Childhood Program Accreditation Approved
The SPARK Early Childhood Program was recently re-accredited by NAEYC (National Association for the Education of Young Children). NAEYC is the nation’s largest organization of early childhood educators. Their goal is to have high-quality early childhood programs that provide a safe and nurturing environment for young children, have teachers who are well-trained, have access to excellent teaching materials, and work with curriculum that is appropriately challenging and developmentally sound. This process involves a comprehensive process of internal self-study and improvement in all of the following areas: positive relationships with children and adults, curriculum, effective teaching approaches, ongoing assessments, nutrition and health, teaching staff, collaborative relationships with families, community relationships, physical environment, and program management.
