KINDERGARTEN REGISTRATION FOR DISTRICT 62 SCHOOLS SLATED FOR TUESDAY, February 23, 2010
Des Plaines School District 62 will conduct kindergarten registration for the 2010-2011 school year at each of its eight K-5 elementary schools as well as at Iroquois Community School on TUESDAY, February 23, 2010 from 4:30-7:30 P.M.

- Plainfield School, 1850 Plainfield Drive, Ph. 847-824-1301
- North School 1789, Rand Road, Ph. 847-824-1399
- South School, 1535 Everett St., Ph. 847-824-1566
- Terrace School, 735 South Westgate Rd., Ph. 847-824-1501
Parents must come to the school their child will attend to verify registration and receive necessary materials. Children must be five (5) years old on or before September 1, 2010 to enroll in kindergarten. A health physical, proof of immunization, and proof of residency will be needed. In addition, a certified copy of the birth certificate (not a baptismal or hospital certificate) is required to register and will be placed in the child’s file.
Registration materials will not be mailed.
Parents may also sign up their child(ren) for Extended Day Kindergarten (EDK) during kindergarten registration. SPARK staff members will be at all elementary schools with registration materials and to answer any questions. For more information about the SPARK/EDK Program please call 847-824-1065.

Registration Dashboard
Registration packets may be picked up from the school office between 8:00 am and 4:00 pm.
When registering your child please bring:
- a copy of his/her birth certificate
1 of the following:
- mortgage
- rental agreement
- tax statement
2 of the following:
- driver's license
- bills such as gas, electric, water, cable or credit card
- voter registration card
- vehicle registration
- mail with name and address on it
