Principal Message
 Welcome to South School!
The staff and I believe that South School is a place where everyone is someone special! As the new principal, it is my goal to foster a school climate in which children, staff, and parents find a sense of personal worth, experience the warmth of a caring environment and are inspired to view learning as a life long process.
At South, staff members are dedicated, caring professionals who are committed to the academic, social, and emotional growth of students. Students receive a comprehensive educational experience. At the heart of instruction is an emphasis on problem-solving, critical thinking activities, and a respect for cultural differences. Our goal is to provide students with the necessary skills and knowledge to prepare them for the future.
The new kindergarten class of 2007 will be the high school graduating class of 2020. We have a challenging, amazing chance to shape their future. As teachers, we face this opportunity with eager anticipation. We look forward to working in partnership with parents and community members toward this end. We believe in open communication between home and school and want to hear what’s on your mind. Please work with us to create and sustain a healthy and productive learning environment for these students.
