Marketing Advisory Committee
The District 62 Marketing Advisory Committee provides expertise in the areas of marketing, public relations, publications and community relations of Community Consolidated School District 62. The committee’s purpose is to promote understanding, appreciation and confidence in the institution among the various local and regional publics.
Functions of the District 62 Marketing Advisory Committee:
- Review and make recommendations about the annual community relations plan.
- Periodically review the district’s processes and methods of communications with its key publics and Board of Education and staff.
- Recommend programs and activities, which will increase the acceptance, confidence, involvement and support of Community Consolidated School District 62 in its local and regional activities.
- Serve as consultants that will assist Community Consolidated School District 62 officials to better understand the needs of the community served by the school district.
- Study and analyze ways by which Community Consolidated School District 62 relates to its publics and recommend ways the district can improve and enhance these efforts.
- Advise Community Consolidated School District 62 on its key messages, audience segmentation and market areas, as appropriate.
Expectations of Committee Members:
- To attend committee meetings.
- To be available to the district’s administrators between meetings for advice.
- Assist District 62, when and where able, to build greater awareness for its mission and work.
Committee Membership Will Consist Of Representatives (Professional and Volunteer) Representing:
- Print media
- Broadcast media (TV, radio, cable)
- Photography
- Public relations
- Printing
- Marketing
- Advertising
- Video production
- District staff
- Parents
