Gifted Education Program

A gifted child is one who demonstrates potential for high levels of achievement by having an advanced level of cognitive ability as compared to others of his/her age.

District 62 provides gifted educational support both in the classroom and as an extension of the curriculum. Enrichment opportunities are integrated in the curriculum through differentiated instruction in the classroom.

School District 62 convened Gifted Review Committee in order to study the current program and make recommendations for improvements
