Chippewa Organization
of Parents and Educators
The Chippewa Organization of Parents and Educators (C.O.P.E.) is an independent organization formed to foster and support a close relationship between home and school.
"When parents are involved in their children's education at home, they do better in school. And when parents are involved in school, children go farther in school — and the schools they go to are better. Positive results of parental involvement include improved student achievement, reduced absenteeism, improved behavior, and restored confidence among parents in their children's schooling."

MEETINGS
Meetings take place in the LMC (library) and begin promptly at 7 p.m. Prior to each meeting is a welcome and open chat session with refreshments from 6:45 until 7:00 p.m. Meetings end by 8:30 p.m. Please mark your calendar and plan to attend.

VOLUNTEERING
There are several committees needed all year for the Chippewa Organization of Parents and Educators. Volunteers are always encouraged to participate. If you would like to receive periodic e-mails from C.O.P.E. (meeting notices, meeting minutes, and notices seeking volunteers), please send your e-mail address to copestuff@yahoo.com. Feel free to contact any member of our executive board with questions.
