One Night-So Many Cultures The night began with Chippewa Middle School sixth grade students welcoming their families in sixteen different languages, but it ended with families and students learning facts about countries from around the globe. Before students manned their exhibits, several students reported on international festivals and holidays. A packed house of parents visited each of the 200+ exhibits. In preparation, students researched and prepared storyboards with facts, maps, and other information about their native countries or countries that they would like to visit. Several classrooms were filled with the sights, sounds, and food from those countries. Some students even dressed in ethnic clothing.
